Custom Cuts

A custom cut allows you to come right to the milling yard and select your own log. From stumps and rounds to bookmatched slabs and dimensional lumber, we have what you need and can cut to your specified dimensions for any and all projects. Cuts made up to 20 feet long, 3 feet wide and to any thickness you desire.

Custom Dried

The selected lumber will be dried in our state of the art lumber kiln. Equipped with 4 moisture probes, automatic temperature and fan adjustments, and smart compressor technology. This ensures moisture is only being pulled at the right moment to limit checking, and ensure the lumber is ready to build with.

Custom Built

We then produce custom bespoke furniture, countertops or structural pieces from the kiln dried log. Custom builds include many possible techniques and products, from custom epoxy pours using our in house epoxy, to hand carving and custom joinery to the incorporations of powder coated steel, laser engraving and C&C finishes.

The Bearded Ox Timber Co. is a custom lumber, countertop and furniture producer. All our trees are ethically and locally sourced by arborists from within a 100km radius of Lethbridge Alberta. We mill and kiln dry all our lumber in house and then create anything and everything you can dream of out of wood. From the small things like cutting and charcuterie boards, to the large like counter tops, wooden sinks, custom tables, chairs, benches, commercial furniture. We specialize in adding that unique feature to your vision. One of a kind moldings, massive posts, beams and mantle pieces, hardwood flooring and anything else you can imagine.
